Refreshing, tasty and rich in dietary nutritions this peanut masala is very easy and popular snack.You will find it almost in every cocktail party to be served with drinks. Even without drinks you can munch it as wholesome salad.

Ingredients:

Raw peanuts 1cup
Spring onion chopped 2
Spring onion green chopped 1/4cup
Carrot chopped 1 small
Tomato chopped 1 large
Cucumber chopped 1 medium
Green chilli chopped 1tsp
Oil 1tsp
Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
Black salt 1/2 tsp
Roasted cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Chat masala. 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves to garnish

Method:

Soak peanuts in warm water for two three hrs. Drain water and boil in fresh water for 5 minutes remove and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds when spluttered add onion and carrots. Stir for a while.
Add peanuts, green chillies, red chilli powder and salt. Cook for 5 minutes. Add onion greens and remove from fire. Add chopped cucumber, tomato and lemon juice. Sprinkle chat masala and roasted cumin powder. Serve garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
Note: You can add tamarind juice if you like more tangy taste.
