Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
Mango powder 1/4 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp

Take a medium size pan add oil when it comes to a smoking point add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add ginger and fry it for a minute. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook till soft and mushy. Add all the spices and cook for further 5-7 minutes. Break potatoes with your hands, I prefer to break the potatoes instead of chopping as it gives a nice thick base to this gravy. Stir and Bhuno it for 4-5 minutes. Add 4 cups of water and let it cook for sometime. When the gravy becomes thick and leaves oil add paneer and cook covered for 3-4 minutes. Add garam masala and chopped coriander.
Serve this potato paneer without onion and garlic with your kuttu ke poori or paranthas while fasting.
