This is an easy to make soup especially for your loving kid. With these kind of soups you can experiment with different vegetables.
It is always a good idea to encourage your child to help you in kitchen but in the kitchen they should always be well supervised by you. While chopping veges, you can tell him that the smaller the vegetables are, the faster they will cook. This way, they could enjoy while cooking with you.
Ingredients:
Carrot 1 finely chopped
Cauliflower 5florrette chopped
French beans 5chopped
Cabbage 1cup shredded
Onion 1 medium sized
Soya sauce 1/2 tsp ( optional )
Ginger 1/2 inch piece, grated or ground to paste
Garlic. 1/2 tsp finely chopped
black pepper 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1/4 tsp
Butter 1tbsp
Water 4cups
Salt to taste
Cornflour, 2 tsp mixed in 1/2 cup of cold water

Method:
Heat the blob of butter in a pan. Add all the chopped vegetables along with ginger and garlic to it. Stir-fry the vegetables. Add salt and water. Pressure cook for 1 whistle. Cool and blend in a blender and strain in a pan and put on a medium flame. Mix cornflour in 1/2 cup cold water and add to the soup, stirring continuously. Bring to boil again. Add soya sauce and sugar and boil till thick and transparent. Sprinkle pepper and serve hot.
