Here is a recipe of my favourite muffins bursting with fresh blueberries. They are made with cinnamon and nutmeg which gives an extra zing to these muffins and they are always quick to disappear. I enjoyed their moist and bread like texture. If fresh blueberries aren’t available you can use frozen.

Flour 2 cups
Sugar 1 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Eggs 2
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Soda 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/4tsp
Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
Grated nutmeg 1/2 tsp
Buttermilk 3/4 cup
Vanilla 1 tsp
Fresh blueberries 1 cup

Preheat oven @ 180 c. Line a muffin tray with paper cups or if you don’t have paper cups you can grease it with oil. Sprinkle some flour.
Lightly beat butter and sugar. Whisk in lightly beaten eggs. Sieve dry ingredients together.
Fold dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternately adding butter milk. Add vanilla and blueberries.
Pour equal portions of the batter into the muffin cups and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Serve fresh muffins with fresh fruits or with a hot cup of coffee.
