Get an ultimate delicious,drool worthy Chicken Kathi Rolls recipe and enjoy the taste at home.It is a perfect food to serve at any time of the day.My family loves to have these rolls when my daughter and grandson visit us in their vacations.Here is the recipe….my daughter cook and assemble these rolls with Murg Malai Tikka made with the recipe I posted a few days before.
For the tikka:
Boneless chicken, 250gms
Lemon juice, 1tbsp
Ginger garlic paste, 1tbsp
Hung curd, 1cup
Grated cheese, 1/2 cup
Green cardammom powder, 1tsp
Mace powder, 1/2tsp
Roasted gram flour, 2tbsp
Salt according to taste
Red chilli powder, 1/2tsp
Oil, 2tbsp
For the roll:
Rumali roties cut into triangles 4
Salad of tomato,onion and cucumber
Mint chutney
Lemon wedges and onion rings to serve with rolls.
Method :
For the tikka
Clean and wash the chicken.
Apply lemon juice and ginger garlic paste on the pieces. Keep aside for 20 minutes.
Mix hung curd, grated cheese, mace, cardamom powder, oil, salt and chilli powder to the roasted gram flour. Rub the chicken pieces with this marinade and keep it in the refrigerator for few hours.
Pre heat the oven at 200c for 10 minutes. Put the tikkas in the greased tray basting with more oil.
Put under the griller for 20 minutes or till done.
For the roll
Take a roti triangle, put it on a hot griddle and apply oil and warm and put the filling, some salad and chutney and roll up like a spring roll and fold from the ends.Cut into half and serve the rolls hot with spicy green chutney.
