Macaroni 2cups
Unsalted butter 2tbsp
All purpose flour 2tbsp
Full cream milk 2cups
Salt and pepper to taste
Gouda cheese grated 1cup
Bread crumbs 3/4cup
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2tsp
Oregano 1/2 tsp
Parsley 1/2 tsp
Method:
Boil macaroni in salted water until just al dente and strain and keep aside.
Melt the butter in a pan and add the flour. Whisk to combine, and cook for a minute or so, stirring constantly.
Add the milk and whisk to combine, continuing to heat until the milk comes to a simmer and is thickened. Take the pan off the heat and stir in the cheese, stir until all of the cheese is incorporated and the sauce is smooth. Add salt and black pepper and oregano.
Mix the macaroni with the sauce, and pour into a baking dish. Sprinkle grated cheese and bread crumbs. Bake for about 30 minutes until bubbling throughout. This is the easiest recipe for pasta lover beginner.
